Geographic distribution of Anotheca spinosa (Anura: Hylidae) in México: new record for the amphibian fauna of Puebla

Abstract

Based on field work at different localities, we provide new data on the geographic distribution of the arborealfrog Anotheca spinosa in Mexico, which fill gaps in the previously known distribution. The discovery of this species insoutheastern Puebla represents the first record for the state. The distribution of this frog in Mexico is more extensiveand continuous than previously known.
