Abstract

A NEW AMPHIPOD SPECIES OF THE GENUS WESTWOODILLA (OEDICEROTIDAE) COLLECTED ON THE COASTS OF GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR IS HEREIN DESCRIBED. THE MAIN DIFFERENCES OF THIS NEW SPECIES COMPARED WITH THE 12 EXISTING SPECIES ARE DESCRIBED IN THIS WORK. THIS IS THE FIRST RECORD OF THE GENUS FOR THE WATERS OF THE SOUTHEASTERN PACIFIC
