Calpionélidos de la transición Berriasiano-Valanginiano en la Sección Padhi, centro-este de Hidalgo, México: sistemática y bioestratigrafía

Resumen

Se estudia la sistemática y bioestratigrafía de 9 taxones de  calpionélidos: Calpionella alpina Lorenz, 1902, Calpionellopsis simplex (Colom, 1939), C. oblonga (Colom, 1939), Tintinnopsella carpathica (Murgeanu y Filipescu, 1933), T. longa (Colom, 1939), T. subacuta (Colom, 1948), Remaniella cadischiana (Colom, 1948), R. catalanoi
Pop, 1996 y Calpionellites darderi (Colom, 1934), procedentes de la sección Padhi, localizada entre los municipios de Tenango de Doria y Huehuetla, centro-este de Hidalgo, México. El análisis bioestratigráfico permitió delimitar una edad que comprende desde el Berriasiano tardío (zona Calpionellopsis, subzona Oblonga) hasta el Valanginiano
temprano (zona Calpionellites, subzona Darderi). Estos registros se compararon con los de otras regiones de América del Norte, América del Sur, Europa, África noroccidental y Asia occidental. Los calpionélidos proceden de la parte basal de la Formación Tamaulipas Inferior (Cretácico Inferior) conformada por lutita y caliza con textura mudstone y wackestone, con facies que presentan radiolarios, espículas de esponjas, fragmentos de ostrácodos y moluscos.
